If Pohto gets into foul trouble, we are toast. I doubt Abidde could play quality D against Ognacevic's mother.

I know hires are judged on outcomes and not much else....but I will say, ADKS has done a great job with bringing about change. I think FADDB expected fans to show up, regardless of the product with no effort involved. ADKS seems to be actively engaged and listening to student athletes, students, and fans in terms of what they'd like changed.

Let's hope it all leads to more wins.

Surprised to see the amount of pessimism on here. I'd have to imagine Mills is way less concerned about the PG situation than we are. Everything I've heard/read from/about Mills makes me think he is more than a competent Xs and Os coach, I have a good amount more confidence in their offense this year with whoever takes the floor than I would have with IB and an extra year of even Porter & Walton. He also falls in line w/his coaching tree of Tang & Drew where he seems very confident in just rolling with who is bought into them. They may not have the talent this year to make a splash this year but I don't see why .500 in this watered down AAC isn't a perfectly attainable goal. At the very least I expect this team to play a lot more aesthetically pleasing offense than last year to the point where we'll all agree that with talent Mills could be a very good coach for us. I'm also pretty confident in his recruiting seeing that we basically poached Beverly from Miami without him ever entering the portal and seeing the 2 2024 commits that he has already landed without coaching a second for us. It certainly may not work out but I think there are enough things to like about Mills that there's I don't see a reason to not be supportive and optimistic until proven otherwise.
