  • I believe this team will be better than a lot of people/posters think.

Might be some growing pains, but mid to late in season, they could be a problem for opponents.

    • Looks like Quincy has figured out what a good shot for him is.

      • Looks like Calgary has two games against Yale in Athens this weekend, too bad we couldn't have gotten a game with the Eli's.

My guess is that would have to qualify as 1 of your 2 exhibition/private scrimmage options. Plus the Shocks will be in Wichita this weekend.

                • We're actually going to be really good again. Might take a year or two, but it's gonna happen.

Even keeping the bulk of this year's roster could go a long way next season. I get the impression that players improve significantly, rather than regress (imagine that), under HCPM.

Dexter Dennis is the poster child for players regressing at WSU. His shooting got worse every year he was here, but improved the moment he left. Now he's getting looks for the G League. Nobody even guarded him here because letting him shoot was the best defense against him.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

No doubt Dexter continued to improve after leaving WSU, but the man shot 31% from deep last season...

I’ve often wondered if the weight training program during the season hurt their shooting. Who was / is the weight trainer for MBB

It was Kerry through '22, the Ryan Horn last year. He gone, and Ashtin Meerpohl has taken his place for 23-24.

But man, I feel like Ridgal could be a steal. Combine the videos with his efficiency numbers and I’m cautiously excited.

                              • Shocks up 40-25 at the half. Balanced scoring. Rignald leading the way with 9 points. Someone with twitter might want to link Saal.
