Hope you're right but I'm sceptical. We'd be better off 0-5 in league play right now. These last two garbage performances are the kinds of games IB will hitch his wagon to at the end of the season.

The thrashings that Houston, Memphis and likely Tulane will put on us will more than offset it

There are 4 teams below the Shox in the current American standings. The Shox are 2-3 in the league. Of those 5 games, 3 have been against those 4 teams below the Shox.

"We were better than some of the worst" doesn't make a good landing spot for IB's hat. Especially when his teams have had to come from double digit deficits in the second half to beat those teams.

Shox are 2-1 against the bottom 4 teams, 0-0 against the top 3 teams, and 0-2 against the 4th and 5th place teams. A mid-tier finish isn't looking likely.
