Did Ballard make the trip? I didn’t see him on the bench? Looked like Rojas was limping walking off the court. Might be good thing if he watches from the bench for a game? Worst offensive team WSU has had in decades…

Okafor missed all the practice time and prep time for the game. IB may have thought he wouldn't be able to run the offensive sets that were put in for the game.

Not being able to execute the offensive sets would have put him on the same page as the rest of the team and made him a great team player.

I believe I could have coached the offense I saw tonight:

"Dribble until you figure out that you can't beat your defender and can't create your own shot. Then pass it to a guy who will be standing near half court, and replace him in that position, Use a one-handed pass"

Only rationale I can add is he must be getting the same treatment as Jalen Ricks.
Keep in mind I have not paid a lot of attention to this team. Actually, I've only watched them a couple of times and tonight was the first time from start to finish.
But I was told by those who have seen him in person that Ricks is a talent and can play.
Yet... he never saw the floor tonight.

I do not know if he is a poor practice player... has grade issues for just in need of an attitude adjustment.
But he certainly can add something, anything compared to the bovine feces on display tonight.

I mean...Rojas and Bell had a combined 38 minutes of floor time in this game.
Let me repeat... 38 minutes of floor time tonight.
Yet Ricks never saw the floor?

As Ricky used to say "Luuucy, splain it to me please!"

I know the so-called offense, if you want to be generous and call it that, sucks. Without any inside presence, it makes it tough to get any inside/out game going.
But the dribble weave for 20+ seconds of each possession is hideous to watch and is a gift to the opposition defense every time.

It calls for a coach to be creative and come up with a solution for the players he has on hand.
Nothing even close to that was happening tonight.

Maybe our guys value more about what their hair looks like than basketball. Don't think I saw a UCF player at all with long hair. What does it mean? I dunno...

This team’s BBIQ is a reflection of the coaching staff. If a change isn’t made at the end of the year, you’ll be lucky to average 4,000 butts in seats next year at Koch. This thing is tanking faster than the blitzkreig in 1939. Saal isn’t stupid. He knows what the right decision is. I’m sure he’s already starting his research.
