Can't wait for the rumors of MVC backfilling with .. Wichita State ...

Good for them finally pulling off a move. CUSA is currently the lowest/weakest FBS conference I believe, but this gets them in and opens up future opportunities.

And with Cuonzo back at the helm of basketball, I'd expect them to compete well moving forward.

Still wish we had football. I'd feel a lot better about our future.

This is one of those moves where if you couldn’t compete in one conference so let’s move to a conference where it’s easier to win. If this is a move for D-1 football, good luck boys. They are gonna drain the coffers.

I'd trade Temple for Dayton and VCU.

Why not both Dayton & VCU, A10 gets Charleston/Temple/Vermont

Yeah I think Dayton is the slightly better add from a basketball perspective, but VCU would fit into the AAC profile very nicely.

It's hard to take that too seriously. Thinking DePaul would consider leaving the Big East to take a substantial pay cut? Temple would throw football under the bus and give up millions in media payouts? I'm not sure there are any conferences left that would take in a refugee football program at this point.

Their options of Vermont, Charleston and UMass-Lowell seem much more likely than either Temple or DePaul entertaining it. But who knows, UCon did sacrifice their football program for basketball. I just don't see Temple doing the same for less overall benefit.
