  • Graham is a shooting guard who sometimes slides over to small forward. Briante Weber is their point guard.

    • Fred must have buddied up with Graham during the camp and didn't want to break his ankles.

        The result...

@DistrictBaller: Treveon Graham beat Wichita State's Fred Van Vleet in the finals of CP3's 1-on-1 Elite Guard Camp Tournament. My guy was flexing out there!

Here is a pitiful excuse for a roundup article:

"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

        • Exactly how do these PG camps measure and determine the No. 1 most important point guard skills? Quarterbacking, leading and inspiring his team. In other words, make his team better than the sum of their parts.

          • FVV said this on twitter. I'm not smart enough to link it properly. Actually I'm just too lazy.

"CP3 camp in the books #Shockernation definitely held it down against some of the best in the country @RDB_sh31ox"

            • The second day roundup not much better, but at least recounts Baker crossing up Dez Wells.

                • Fred and Alex Harden were signing autographs at half-time of the Volleyball match with Indiana State on Friday. I don't know if they hung around after the match or turned over the signing to the Volleyball players at that point.

"I think I'm humble and smart enough to realize people are only going to care about me for a certain amount of time," VanVleet said, and that might be the most mature and accurate thing I've ever heard a young athlete say. "So I could give a speech 15 years from now, but it won't have the same effect as me talking to kids right now, while I'm still relevant. Kids only listen to what they see now. So as long as people view me as important, I'm going to squeeze every inch out of it. I'd rather use what I have than let it go to waste."

"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Agreed...I think it is those qualities that help make him a great basketball player.
