If you go to the contribution page, there's a drop down for each of the designated funds you can contribute to. Looks like there's around 30 options so you can make sure you're donating to a specific club or project. I like it.

They'd have to put a team on the court that would justify it.

I know they looked into it at one point. I think the concern was support. Not sure if that was all the way around or specific areas.

personally, if they expand, I'd love to see them add boxes at the top for some of the sponsors to schmooze clients and hopefully open up more seating for the average Joe. I'm not sure how much that could increase capacity, or if they'd take out more seats than it would add, but it could potentially be a nice asset at some point.

Though I'd guess most renovation/expansion projects would include increasing facility size for support efforts.

Agree. If anything I think they will add boxes and reduce capacity. Hopefully that would put the corporates in the boxes and the more passionate fans closer to the court.

Expansion could also mean the concourse, practice gyms, weight room, or other areas. Doesn’t necessarily mean expanding seating capacity.

The AD floated the idea of adding suites or loge boxes to the upper reaches of CKA a few years ago, if anyone else recalls. The design was turrible, like very turrible, like Stevie Wonder drew it up after a weekend bender level of turrible. It went over like a bottle rocket with a dog turd duck-taped to it.

It was a symbolic moment for Boaty McBoatface.

Agreed. These kinds of things should always be done, whether the team is coming off a Final 4 berth or is coming off of last year's disappointment. Don't take your students/fans for granted.
