40 years ago, I actually sort of liked Lutz's commentary articles in the paper...his schtick, however, didn't age well and became a bit too self-righteous. His condescending tone is unbecoming and biased---and others did it better. I pay almost no attention to him now as I feel he has little credibility. It's sad what's become of his "brand".

That tends to occur when someone in the public eye takes a political stance. It’s ok for us nobody’s to do so on a message board, but public figures might be best served keeping their political opinions to themselves. Just my opinion.

Johnny Carson nailed this to perfection. The last great late night talk show host. Letterman was right there with him until he couldn't contain himself any longer. What a shame.

I agree with the quote that it's classless to attack Boatright now or rub it in.

The billboard on the other hand is not.

One is attack on a person's job performance (who is largely taxpayer funded). The other is an attack on the person himself. Those two things are totally different.

Didn't they recently change time slots? I thought I remember seeing that somewhere. But after listening a bit to ESPN Wichita yesterday, I think that's where I'd lean should I tune in to local sports talk. They actually talk about sports which is always a bonus.

There would have to be demand for something different there .. we can just ignore them and their dieing media .. can't do that with an AD

I have always liked Shane Dennis. He was the reason I would listen to Sports Daily. When he left there it took me a few weeks to find him again on the new station. Pat Strathman is growing on me as well.
