Ok this is my last post on the subject, @Jaysfan and @subbgod....I'll even agree that Zeller is know as a "flopper", but to me thats not the point of the video. The whole point to me is what I saw GE do, regardless of how Zeller reacts or doesn't react. I see GE shove a player with two hands and not making a basketball play. To me, this a dirty play made out of frustration. If you want to try to justify it or whatever we will just agree to disagree haha. I'm not trying to bash CU as a team or anything like that, it was just a discussion of a play that some view as dirty. It cost's $31,000 a year to be a Creighton Bluejay.....ya, for daddy's credit card.

Ultimately, what I'm not sure you realize is that flopping is actually a foul too and could be called a technical if the officials really wanted to. It doesn't happen very often, but it certainly could be called that way. Just like being pushed with both hands is rarely called a foul, flopping is rarely called a foul.
So, let's just assume everything you said in your post was true (which I completely disagree with by the way). Knowing that it was also a flop, is it unreasonable for the refs to say, since both parties violated the rules on that play, we're not going to call anything? Ultimately, I think that is what happened.

Zeller didn't have to go down for this to be a foul. 00 clearly turned 180 degrees from the basket to seek out the contact. He wasn't interested in blocking out in the traditional way. Then he put so much force into the cross-armed push that he totally extended his arms. When an individual the size of 00 does that, most players are going down, which Zeller did.
Say what you will...the officials blew it...their not perfect and I understand that. It doesn't change the fact that it was an over the top rough play that should have resulted in action by the refs. Being an official is a tough job. And boy have they taken some grief in this tourny so far.

There were I believe four others that believed Zeller flopped and it wasn't as bad as he made it appear. Unfortunately, those people haven't participated in the extended dialogue. They voiced their opinoins and left. So that would make six of us that have stated it was a flop and not really that bad. And only one of the six is a CU fan.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

1) GE was complaining to the ref that he was pushed when he missed a shot on the previous play....he was looking for Zeller coming down the floor.
2) This was NOT a case of holding your ground or holding out crossed arms. It was body forward, thrusting crossed arms up and out toward upper chest and neck area.
3) The arm movement was high enough and strong enough, that upon the pivot back to the basket, the left elbow was head high on the turn.
Was there contact, yes. Did Zeller embellish the contact, yes. My point is, had GE not thrusted at Zeller, near the neck area, there would have been no problem. Zeller could have flopped and everyone could have gotten a good laugh at him, again. Watch the video at regular speed, then slow motion, then go back and watch at regular speed again. I'm still amazed no foul and very possibly a T. It happened fast, out in the open, and there was contact.

Does not look like a flop to me, in slow motion is looks even worse. An “Old West” Texas analysis and summary of Mueller report and Congress’ efforts in one sentence:

Zeller did some acting here. But give me a break. Its been said on here, but ill say it again. If Hall did the same thing, even I wouldn't stand up for him. Its clearly a cheap shot and not even close to a basketball play. Its kind of like what Jermaine O'Neal did to the fan in the brawl at the Palace. Okay, maybe that's pushing it a little bit, but double fisting someone in the throat is should be a flagarant 2 and an immediate ejection.
Edit: maybe I should have rewatched the Jermaine O'Neal incident before I posted that, I thought the fan charged him, not the other way around.

Except the contact was in the chest, not the throat. If he did what some of you claim and got Flopper in the throat, he wouldn't have gotten back upInfinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
