Because most players aren't pansies and flop like a little *****. That's why. And because it's one of the precious little players at UNC that flopped.

      A. I didn't see it that way.
      B. The "flop" is used by every college basketball team on the planet.

That's why they ALL do it. That's what I'm saying. If it's not called all year, you don't start calling in the post season.

The only one who could have gotten a T there would be Zeller as flopping is considered an unsporting act. But you don't get Ts for that unless you've been warned.
That's wrong. Post players do not two arm shove people on a regular basis. They may tangle up while trying to get position but not that. Watch the tape. GE is facing the basket and turns around and pushes Zeller who was slowing down. Again, I could care less if zeller flopped, cried, or went and told his mom. The point of it is the intent of GE so I'll say ask it again: How was this a basketball play? Was he boxing out? No. Was he going for a ball? no. It was a dirty play, and players that make dirty plays are dirty players.

As for the other ones...Wragge's play on Marshall was clean and for UNC fan whining about gibbs winking at henson....well go grab a tissue I guess.
        It cost's $31,000 a year to be a Creighton Bluejay.....ya, for daddy's credit card.

You guys see the play however you want it. I see post players in college use two arms like that ALL THE DAMN TIME. That includes our own Garrett Stutz. I think the hatred for Creighton is making some see this differently. Had Zeller not flopped like he did, NOBODY would be talking about it.

I disagree as well. Holding your ground with arms crossed at mid chest and moving them straight out a little is one thing. What I saw here was GE turning away from the basket, not just facing Zeller, but powering forward, with arms crossed, making contact on the high chest/neck area, then quickly turning with left elbow head high. Had Zeller not been pushed back high (and/or flopped), his face would have fully caught that elbow.

I find it funny that the consensus on ShockerNet is that Garrett isn't physical enough down low, yet Sub says he 2 arm checks players all the time.

I must be getting Alzheimer's at an early age, because I don't remember ever seeing Garrett run down the court, turn around, give eye contact to a player (Which in my opinion is the key factor to call the T. GE looked directly at Zellers before he pulled up the forearm.) then jap a forearm to a player's clavicle.

But I guess Sub's superior memory, trumps at least the 5 or 6 other posters who disagree with him.

                  This is getting entertaining.

Of course, everyone on this board knows how I feel about Echinique anyway.

That was my thought as well. It wasn't the fact that it was a two arm shove that made is a problem, it was where that shove was aimed and with what intent. There is a big difference between a two armed shove to the body and a two armed shove to the throat. Plus, you can't claim that it's location was an accident because A) Echinacea (a member of the daisy family) was staring Zeller down before doing it, and B) Zeller is a 7-footer and there is no way that he accidentally went to the neck of a player taller than he is.

There are shoves that are jostling for position. This was an attempted head shot.

Bolded font: Definitely the deciding factor to make me think he needs a technical. He straight up stared him down before doing it.

This has nothing to do with winning and losing. I'm not blinded by my hate of CU and Echinique. Forearms to the chest happen all the time if you want to believe it or not. To us and by us.

                            I'm amused.

And for the record, if something were called it wouldn't be a T. It was a live play and would be an intentional foul of some kind.

                            But it wasn't that either.

Well if it happens all the time then by all means go find a clip of it. If one of WSU's players did that I would think they are a dirty player as well, but you saying Stutz does it every game as well with 0 evidence to support this claim is just wrong. If you find clips of him doing it then I will stand corrected. But, you still haven't explained to me how this was a basketball play? I'd be fine with the play if he was trying to get position or going for a ball, but he didn't. He looked away from the play and two arm shoves Zeller for zero reason. Ruling = Dirty Play

As, for my hatred toward Creighton and if it clouds my judgement, I don't think so. As i've said before Wragge's play wasn't dirty and Gibbs did nothing wrong either. I think if my hatred clouded my judgement that much I would say Wragge tried to hurt Marshall or Gibbs was trying to injure Hensons wrist again just to say something bad about Creighton. Creighton is a good team and Doug is the best player the Valley has seen in a long time.(Really hate saying that but it's true.) Anyway, I'm not "blinded" by hatred.....but I do hate Creighton ;)
