It's all over twitter, Creighton players getting death threats from UNC fans over some of the fouls yesterday. Seriously.

I could care less at how Zeller acted or reacted, look at what GE did. He shoves him with both arms. Someone tell me how thats a basketball play? Boxing out? No. Going for a ball? Nope. If you switch the jersey's around and a UNC player does that to Doug, the Creighton board would be crying bloody murder. GE's play was dirty and should have been T'd.It cost's $31,000 a year to be a Creighton Bluejay.....ya, for daddy's credit card.

This typifies what I don't like about the rugby-like post play that has come about over the past couple of decades. When I watch video of college or even NBA games from the 80s (like I saw watching ESPN's "The Announcement" about Magic Johnson) there was nowhere near that amount of banging around in the paint. What happened between Echenique and Zeller, Stutz and Wilkins, and all is what inside play has become, and I personally think it makes the game worse, not better.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

So Garrett would have gotten about 20 Ts this year. I won't argue that it should be called a foul, because I agree. But we want consistency and it's pretty much NEVER called one in college. That's why they ALL do it. That's what I'm saying. If it's not called all year, you don't start calling in the post season.
The only one who could have gotten a T there would be Zeller as flopping is considered an unsporting act. But you don't get Ts for that unless you've been warned.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

I must need my eyes checked...I have never seen Garrett do what GE did...ever. If what GE did is common place in college basketball, why are most of the national sports pundits, tv and radio showing/talking about the act being over the top?
