Post players everywhere do that same thing in just about every game. Stutz has done it and been on the receiving end. We just haven't seen anybody flop like Zeller did. The flop made it look a million times worse than it really was.

This typifies what I don't like about the rugby-like post play that has come about over the past couple of decades. When I watch video of college or even NBA games from the 80s (like I saw watching ESPN's "The Announcement" about Magic Johnson) there was nowhere near that amount of banging around in the paint. What happened between Echenique and Zeller, Stutz and Wilkins, and all is what inside play has become, and I personally think it makes the game worse, not better.

Yes. Anyone that puts two hands into another player and shoves them should be called for a foul.

If he turns away from the basket and pushes a player in the chest, YES he should be called for a T. A two hand shove is a foul. I would have to witness any examples to say that I think one is a T and one is just a foul, but if you put any player in place of Greg E on that play, I would call it a T.

So Garrett would have gotten about 20 Ts this year. I won't argue that it should be called a foul, because I agree. But we want consistency and it's pretty much NEVER called one in college. That's why they ALL do it. That's what I'm saying. If it's not called all year, you don't start calling in the post season.

The only one who could have gotten a T there would be Zeller as flopping is considered an unsporting act. But you don't get Ts for that unless you've been warned.

I agree it should be called all year. But you CANNOT start calling something in the postseason that's been allowed ALL season.

I must need my eyes checked...I have never seen Garrett do what GE did...ever. If what GE did is common place in college basketball, why are most of the national sports pundits, tv and radio showing/talking about the act being over the top?
