Eric got a waiver to be closer to home when he went to Washington. He then got a freebie due to Covid when he went to South Carolina. Now he’s using the grad transfer exemption to get his last freebie.

Yes, however, going forward this will not apply if they have already used up their one-time transfer exemption under the new rules. I posted a link top this the other day.
