Maybe Kenny will yet prove to be a decent 3-point shooter but that hasn't happened so far as his numbers, 13-45 (28.9%), from behind the arc are only better than Mo's and Chaunce's.

It would be nice if he could play the 4 but I question whether he has the athleticism to do that.

But a lot of you guys seem to be really sold on him so I hope your are right. Would love to see him turn into another Jaime Echinique.

Photo gives the Shocks some much needed skill in the post (a legit post). He could be good by the time he's a senior. As in all conference good.

    • I don't know what thread it was in and i don't care, (about three months ago but I made the comment about the talent IB has now vs. what left two years ago...not ATTITUDES...talent and I said it's remarkable what he pieced together witgh wat left...someone said I was crazy, that we have better talent now, just younger...so I thought I'd check
      :Sherfeld 18.4 a game
      The Process 11.3 a game
Burton about 11 a game but on a hot streak
      Fernandes about 11 a game

Attitudes in that group? Yep....but they seem to be blending in somewhere...even the process....

I like the team in many ways but they are THIN at post and flawed everywhere else....

      Bottom line.....not a massive amount of skill....hence part of the record...not all...part.

Most, I believe, did not what to see Fernandes and Burton leave. We are better off without TP. I also would not have minded Sherfield leaving if Burton and Fernandes had stayed.

        Add:

Sherfield is with the coach he wanted to be with.....and losing in MWC.

TP may have finally learned a little something, now with his 3rd team.

Fernandez went home. Unfortunately, they had a good team until a MASS exit from MASS. They are not doing well.

Burton is also with his 3rd team and seems to be very happy. I glad for him. Oh yeah, Pitt is mostly an "also ran".

Which begs the question, are players looking for playing time or winning championships?

            Ah, fair point.

            My mistake.

So you're saying we don't have 4 guys on this team who could average 11+ ppg on different teams in 1-2 years from now? Not buying it.

                  • Anyone complaining about Pohto maybe not being worth it because he's not strong enough as a true freshman will never be happy with any freshman big ever. Unless you're one of the blue bloids, you're not generally going to get a big that's physically ready to bang in the post.

The kid is more skilled than pretty much any freshman big we've had in 30 years or so. Stutz would be the only one that could be on par with him and he also wasn't physically strong as a freshman.

Love the way Craig goes to the basket but I just wish he had a bit more energy early in the possession. We watched the Houston/UCF after our game. Very rarely does a Houston player even dribble unless they intend to go somewhere, and talk about crisp passes! One reason we don't get many good shots is that we don't move the ball quickly. Probably get the chance to see what I'm talking about tomorrow.

Fair points. Not really slow but I would agree that he can get kind of lazy at times bringing the ball up the court.

The dude got stuffed by the bottom of the rim last game. Twice! His three point shot makes western Kansas look like the Sierra Madres. He cant post up. What are his “skills” exactly?

                          • Craig brings a lot to the table. Elite handles and speed are not two of them.

                              • We have a great Track and Field team running around on the court. We don’t have a great basketball team. Lest you not be confused.
