We get 5 Million dollars nowhere. The Big donors have been screwed around enough recently, and they aren't going to bale anyone out.

Just because we can't do anything about the coaching doesn't change the fact that most of our problems revolve around the coaching, or lack there of. No accountability. No control. No improvement. Changing players isn't going to change any of that either. Apparently everyone should lig off for 3 years

Well no crap. You can't write the check you need to make your plan work and I can't go out and recruit for WSU to make my plan work. Better shut this board down since no one can do jack ****.

The difference is I'm trying to talk about what WSU can reasonably do in the next 3 years. You just want to scream and cry and blame it on something WSU can't change without a major donor stepping in (which sounds like most of those are gone). WSU and it's coaches CAN go out and recruit different players. WSU CAN go out and find different assistants. Those are all things that are reasonably possible. Paying 5 million to can IB isn't reasonable.

So we can't change the Head Coach ... We CAN shake up the assistant staff. So let's do that. How do we get the right assistants in.

IMO ... Kennedy has to go. Great guy and I wish him the best but he's not the right fit with IB. We need someone extra engaged

You know nothing about what the Assistant Coaches actually do. They might be better than our HC for all we know. All we have to evaluate our coaches is what happens during the game that we can see. We don't see them in their meetings, how they recruit, etc. The HC is the only one who is in a position to evaluate our Coaching staff.

Here's my concern with the idea of bringing in good assistants. These guys can see what's going on and know kids in the program. If you're an up and comer do you really want to jump on a likely sinking ship? Serious question. I think that getting good coaches to come in and help isn't that easy either. It's a tough spot to be in. Sucks!

Couple of crazy stats ...

We Need to be searching for a shooter or two. Someone that can consistently hit open shots. That and no post presence are our biggest issues (though Pohto has the ability to get there IMO even if he isn't there yet).

Obviously way too many TOs and not enough assists .. but I wonder how the stats would look if we could hit those open shots like in the first stat. Can't get an assist if you can't make the shot or the layup.

This is coaching. We need to shake up the bench if IB is still around. Find some money to get a GOOD assistant with some offensive chops and let him help devise plays. OOB plays are a coaching thing. End of Half plays are a coaching thing. Transition offense is a player and practice thing but derive from the coaching in practice.

I'll never understand why our offense ran through the 3 ball. What a dumb philosophy.
