Good grief, Paul Savage is still on the air???

At least Savage could admit when he said something stupid, eventually, and didn't double down on it like most of the others. He'd say some off the wall things but he never had the arrogance of most other local sports talk hosts. He was also good for some comic relief at times. Plus he'd irritate The Bruce from time to time which is always a plus in my book.

Though I haven't listened to any of the local sports talk in ages so who knows what's changed. I used to listen to the Lutz duo only for the 15-20 minutes it would take me to drive home after work. But I got over that years ago.

It blows my mind that the Lutz’s are still the drive-time show in town….

It’s embarrassing, to be honest.

Wichita is a small market with only one game in town. People can find podcasts with wall to wall coverage of any team they want. My mind is blown they can still generate enough ad revenue to cover a radio show. I would venture the Lutz's see little coin from it.

He did. A football 1st Team All City and in my class at SE. Good guy.

That's the other issue I have. He does watch the Shockers but offers opinions about how we are the third best team in the league without ever watching other teams play or even looking at advanced stats to get some sort of a rundown.
