Defense, rebounding and toughness with just enough offense was the "mantra" under FHCGM that lead to Wichita St's success the past decade.

Success led to recruiting higher caliber athletes over those years. We've had 'em...and we got 'em still.

Coach Isaac Brown "almost" has that type of player(s) within the program sustained from the Marshall era.......

....but just needs to get a damn tall athletic 4 like Cleanthony again!!!

I can say the last 15 minutes, their fans were hot. Earlier in the game, a ref spoke to event person which delivered a warning to fans seated on the court. After the TE foul, Even the old ladies were cussing. Kept our heads down a bit after the game. Section 16, mid court between the benches.

Didn't watch, but judging by box score and game thread, it appears that we know what this team's identity is. And I'm fine with it. Tough and gritty. Ugly it up. Make plays when needed (especially on defense). Seems like your garden variety Shocker team.

Best experience is hanging Ws. Only stat that counts. And we're doing that.

Well, myopic raider fan, with the ways the Raiders have been going the past several weeks, with the coaching fiasco, Henry Rugs 3 controversy; the Chiefs blow out, and culminating in the Bengals blow out, the Vegas melt down and anger, for old ladies, and everyone is understandable.

Dexter has to to start hitting shots. I don’t understand why he does this every freakin year. If he would make his open 3s we wouldn’t be struggling so much and relying on Tyson to pull us out. Mo is the other guy that needs to stop forcing things. He can be good and he can really really bad. At this point I’d rather see Kenny get most of the minutes and have Mo come in for breathers. IB needs too send that message.

I said it last night .. but UNLV players/coaches and fans were straight up awful when they came to CKA during Fred's last year. Does not surprise me one bit that they would act like that.

Good move to keep Pleasant on the bench most of second half. Yes, he is probably a good team mate. But he is a Valley level player and not athletic enough to play consistently this level.
I know he is 6'8" and put together, but I see 6'8" guys every night and most are more athletic. He just doesn't have any explosion off the floor and has what they call heavy feet.
Need to see more Jackson, once he gets a clue about the offense.

It all started with the UNLV assistant,bput players started to get upset in the scrum too; jawing back and forth. I remember seeing RC4 was less than pleased.

Monzie came over and pumped the crowd up afterwards. It was nice.

UNLV can take their all and go home.
