11 assists on 27 baskets is not very good and is reflective of the style of offense we are playing. However, I am not sure HCIB is that concerned about that ratio.

The offense is basically pray we make shots or get second chance opportunities. Hence, we can look extremely horrible one second and amazing the second we start hitting shots. In other words, this team can’t manufacture a bucket via a set play…unless y’all are seeing something I’m not.

There were times the ball never left one side of the court, never went into the post, nothing for 25 seconds then we forced up a contested shot.

Other times we passed the ball once then fired up a contested shot.

Then when we made runs we were passing the ball around, screening and cutting, driving and dishing. Of course we also just hit some tough shots and grabbed a lot of offensive boards.

At some point it just has to sink in with the team that it’s just not a recipe for success on offense.

I love Ricky’s potential but he is a liability on defense. He has to score 50 to make up for what he gives up on the other end.

Also our offense will be limited until defenses have to respect our inside presence. The guys we have now don’t scare anyone.

IB needs to send a message and start KP and Monzy next game. This ride and die stuff is BS and will cost him his job.

I'd go a step further and start Porter and Grant. Etienne seems to be really good at the end of games and really sucky early in games. Etienne has had some learning opportunities. He needs some time to watch the game from the bench and see how he can learn from what he sees in film reviews.

I hope Brown is up Tyson's ass up to about his tonsils. Late game heroics don't atone for 2/17 shooting early, which was the only reason some late-game heroics were needed.

Kenny needs to play more. He is a difference maker. Mo is good against smaller teams as long as he doesn't wander outside 5 feet from the basket, or dribble.
