I'm less enthusiastic about IB than I was when he was hired, but IB inherited a really weak front court. When a Fr can outplay a 4-year guy, that says something about the 4-year guy.

I thought Pohto held his own. I was impressed.

Lost rebounding battle 47-43, but not for lack of fighting. 20 offensive rebounds and it truly was a team battle. Porter had 7 rebounds.

100 percent. He’s regressed or at the very best stayed flat in his time here. It’s a damn shame but the reality of the situation. If IB cares about winning over feelings this should happen.

I am definitely pro Pohto right now. Strength will come with time, but he is definitely our best option down low right now.

IB needs to coach up Mo on situational awareness. His size alone would have helped in OT.

I don't know if anybody can coach up MU? He has been playing stupid for 4 years. He still do not pass out a double team. Turns it over 3very single time.. What I liked about KP is that he plays smart. And he knows how to pass the dam ball.

This game should have been won. All they have to ido s look at box score on free throws. Clang another game lost because of poor free throw shooting and dumb unforced turnovers. But at least they showed us their heart.

Redemption in the second half but I wish Coach could get us over the hump when we tie it up.

We had chances at the line and came up empty. It’s a bummer cause that’s a game we could’ve won with a couple more makes.

Agree. I doubt many teams out rebound them all season.

Why call last time out? You need a miss and then time out then length of court pass. Now your only chance is a half court Chuck

Try and ice the shooter and you can call two plays in the timeout. One if he misses, one if he makes. The timeout made sense to me.

Really loved our fight and intensity.
TE had a good 2nd half but had he hit his FT's with 37 seconds we probably
would have won the game considering how much they were struggling.
Hope we have enough fight left for UNLV.
KP may not be real physical yet but he stays around the basket and clogs the lane -
got some good experience tonight.
I didn't think AZ was well coached and Michigan will handle them easily

Can’t have TE and KP combined 4-11 from FT, if they are supposed to be the best shooters on the team.

Hopefully, that doesn’t happen again on the season.

Good effort to keep it close against a bigger and more skilled team, but moral victories don’t get you into the tournament.

Regroup and take home the victory on Sunday to split the trip to Vegas.
