  • Kenny Pohto

Feels like he's gonna need his own thread for his career progress.

I'll start with Taylors article from his first game.

Excellent Pivot skills. Displays the footwork of a Senior right now.

Pohto is the player I left Game 1 most impressed with.

(We all already know what TE is about, so I’ll exclude him from that discussion)

Smooth character! I am impressed with his defense. He is a natural bb player.

Should have called it "Any news on Pohto".

I guess those dunks could be called Pohto Finishes.

PA announcer: Kenny for a... Fans: Pohto Finish!

Off course, Kenny is not Finnish, he's Swedish. Oh well.

I think will be seeing a lot of Pohto Photos!

Surely, there are some local Photography studios and shops that could give Kenny an NIL deal.

Pohto not exactly soft as Charmin in a very tough game where he went up against formidable big men. Honestly thought he would have a few more hiccups early on.

And when was our last freshman center, who put in 18 minutes in their first game, and had ZERO fouls.

I think they were still using peach baskets.

Zero fouls and not because he wasn't playing defense. We've only seen the tip of the iceberg with this kid. He's going to grow and mature and gain an even greater understanding of the game and we're all going to enjoy that process.

I feel like Pohto is starting out where we all hoped IPBC would have been by the start of last season.

IPBC.......lotta wasted talent there unfortunately. If he applies himself, he'll destroy the Summit.

I doubt he destroys the Summit.

I was pleasantly surprised with Kenny's skills and approach to the game vs Missouri Southern State. Absolutely nothing has changed that opinion. Enjoy him while he's here, because it won't be for as long as we hope.
