Would love to see Memphis win this game with Alabama, good for the league. Memphis and Houston’s defense is scary. Like I’ve said before, our point guard play will need to be near perfect to stay with these guys…Comment

Looks like Memphis is going to hold on to win. The message of this game seems to be that Memphis is way better in high tempo games. Here are the Kenpom tempo ranks for the teams Memphis has lost to:
Iowa State - #212
Ole Miss - #295
Georgia - #159
Murray State - #243
Alabama is #21 and Memphis is #12. Turns out that is the game that Memphis looks good after a run of losses against teams that play slow. For the record, WSU is currently #207 in tempo in the nation.
