Not buying Collins excuse. He is just feeling the heat and needed to say something.

He made absolutely zero attempt at the ball or to block the shot. He almost lowered his shoulder and body in to Moore who was in mid air. No excuse. Take your lumps and move on. He was pi$$ed he got stripped. That is one of those situations where you are too far behind the play to catch up and you just let it happen.

A college basketball cheerleader allegedly flipped off an opposing team and then stormed off the court ... after she says one of the players called her a "*****" and told her to "shut the f*** up."

The bizarre scene all went down last Friday during St. Bonaventure's men's college basketball game against Saint Louis ... when Bonnies cheerleader Hannah Koning says Billikens starting guard Jordan Nesbitt talked trash to her.

Nesbitt is a transfer from Memphis.

Give me a break. If unsportsmanlike gestures should exempt people from their sport....well there wouldn't be enough competitive players to make any sport interesting.

In video filmed by the outlet Mid-Major Madness shortly after the alleged incident, Koning can be seen furiously walking away from the court while a woman, who appears to be Koning's coach, looked angry on the hardwood as well.

In the caption on the footage, the outlet claimed the cheerleader had thrown her middle fingers up to the Billikens bench just before the camera started rolling.

The outlet added, "Nesbitt had been chirping the Bonaventure cheerleaders all games, calling them disgusting names ... He came up at the end and said some more."

Sounds like he was doing it the whole game.

Absolutely not...but to end his season would be way excessive. A good coach would make that a learning experience, not a possible career ending move.

Now if lessons aren't learned after the first time, I may have different feelings.

I'm not saying it's ok, saying these are young men, many who have grown up in a single parent household and rough neighborhoods where the parents don't have time to actually teach right and wrong because they are busy working one or two jobs to pay rent, utilities and put food on the table.

So many times people never consider someone grew up a little different than others.
