I'm surprised there's such a market for narcissistic, overpriced sportswear.

I think the answer is there is not. But there is a market for highly rated athletes to fill rosters. NIL is just really a slick way of bringing what has been going on under the table and in dark rooms to the top of tabel and out in the daylight.

I bought one of Fred's T-Shirts because to me Fred is very special, I really liked his logo and I thought my middle school grandson would really like it. I like Dexter's logo. My middle school grandson who is now a high school freshman likes Dexter a lot as well. OTOH he probably would rather have NBA gear. Maybe if Dexter has a Fred or Ron kind of year this year I might grab one of his T-Shirsts for my grandson.

That would be a safe assumption since there's basically no such infraction as 'enticement' anymore. Or so it appears.

A couple of ideas. Rent a shoulder: have an advertising removable tattoo. Jerseys or warm-ups that look like NASCAR drivers jump suits. Life size player cutouts on the concourse next to some product, or better yet a product dispenser with their likeness on the product.

why put it on the jersey, just have a code next to each players name in the program. You go to the link, enter the code and select desired amount.

yeah, I actually think it's a terrible idea, and was made in jest, but wouldn't surprise me if the payola starts coming in the form of $100 handshakes.
