The middle of section 109 is horrible. Only about 1/2 that section participates in the game. Lower 1/3 and upper few rows do well, but everything in between is pretty lame.

The BatWu video has been gone over and over again, but its timing is also horrible. The players are shown entering the tunnel, rallying each other up, the crowd gets energized to cheer them on, the players are ready to get out on the court, but no.....STOP. It's the BatWu video. The crowd quites (or moans) and we wait.

If this video must be shown, do it earlier, please.

I will triple it. Just move the bat wu to before the team is in the tunnel. It is just such a crowd killer.

I'm urging every poster on this board who is not satisfied with the current production of Shocker games (everyone minus im4wsu) to take some time out and email our fearless leader Eric Sexton or some form of the athletic department.

I thought you/I were asked to drop it. I was a man and let your rhetoric go as the last word. And, I never said I was satisfied, only that I would not decide to go/not go to a game based on superfluous entertainment production. I apologize to Kai and the other BB members for this outburst.

But, perhaps we should becareful what we wish for. The promos bring a lot of money into the program. Believe me, ive seen what they charge. And being a top notch program with top notch facilities and travel amenities cost a lot of money.

I liked whoever was in the WU costume last night. Seemed like he had more energy than usual. He also might of had some basketball skills, dude almost hit a half court shot before the team came out.

After watching a DVR of the game, the crowd actually looked better on TV than I thought it would in the first half and maybe not quite as good as I expected in the second half.

Overall I thought the crowd looked better on TV than I expected. While the high dollar empty seats looked bad on TV, you never saw the empty student section seats (which there were a lot more of than the high dollar empties) on TV.

Also the crowd came across a lot as being fairly loud so to me that offset the visible high dollar empty seats.

Still it would be nice if they had the ushers go up to the top rows and get people to fill those empty seats, at least for national TV games. It really would not be that hard to do.
