What a turn on optimisms since the memphis game.
I just hope the players aren't doing the same as some of you. Counting how many losses could land a 4th place finish is enlightening.

Considering that Memphis boatraced us by 20 and it was never really close, and SMU is competitive with Memphis, and Tulsa is crashing like a circus performer missing their trapeze catch, Counting losses for a 4th place finish might be a glass half full thing.

SMU games will not be any fun. Anei has really improved and his wing span is like a 747. Jasey and Chargois will not make life cheery in the post either.
If WSU doesn't pick it up in the post against SMU, Memphis and Houston again, they better shoot 40+ from '3 point land' to have a chance.

The next two weeks of games will be challenging, to put it mildly.

I hate to say it, but SMU almost scares me more than Houston. Especially after seeing how we did against UH. SMU is not a good matchup for us. The one saving grace is that Jank is their coach. That could be the equalizer.
