I don't. I'd rather a head coach admit he was wrong. Sticking with something that isn't working for so long because you possibly cannot believe you were wrong about something is NOT the way to coach a team.

Just playing devil's advocate, what is everyone's feelings if TM's wild behind the back junk doesn't go in for the lead? That was an incredibly out-of-control junk shot, an essential turnover on most nights. That was really one of the only crazy plays that he did tonight and thankfully it went in. He probably shouldn't be going with that shot too many more times though. :)

Actually that description isnt accurate. I went back and watched it in slow-mo to see if it was just a lucky play and it definitely wasn't pure luck. Before the shot he is actually studying the rim (facing forward and right as he turns). He knew exactly where the basket was just like when shooting a 180 dunk. Take another look.

I think he threw it up because he thought he got fouled and just wanted to get the 2-shot foul. Fortunately it went in, but he never got the foul call.

Benefit of hindsight and instant replay.... The shot was not a shot that player would normally take, and while I am grateful that he made it, he has take similar shots at similarly crucial times and missed and cost us some games. Not bagging on TM. Just stating that at first glance that was a very lucky shot.
