Not hindsight I went straight to replay when it happened because I thought it was dumb luck. You can see him clearly studying the hoop during the pass/catch/turn. It was not dumb luck. Believe me we have all seen his boneheaded plays and this was not one of them.

I thought you were half-joking at first but you seem to be serious. I've seen Murry with the "look" before attempting some of these crazy, out-of-control junk shots. He may have taken an educated guess by simply throwing it backwards towards the general area of the backboard, but come on, it was luck and it was dumb luck.

You're saying it's not a boneheaded play now because the prayer was answered and the shot went in. 999 times out of 1000 it doesn't go in and we have all witnessed it. It did this time. Let's just all be thankful that it did go in and let's hope everybody who thought he was just trying to draw a foul are right in their beliefs. Come on Wu, that shot was just plain garbage.

I don't have any problem with going to a zone but basing your strategy on what Bradley does this year is like planning your vacation based on the Titanic voyage.

That is pretty funny except for the fact that it worked big time against UNI. Bu ended up totally dominating the game once they went to the zone. If a team like Bu can totally dominate UNI using a zone, we should be able to also.

The fact that Bradley did something, on their own, to stop another team and actually get a win should be proof enough to any coaching staff that it is a fail-safe gameplan against that team.

Don't get me wrong. I am more than THRILLED that the junk went in and it iced his perfectly made cake for the night. Garbage or not, it went in, it counted as 2 points, and it helped lift us to a big road win over the Floppiteers from Frostbite Falls. Again, as you said, pure Fathead material just for that reason.
