GREAT news, Stutz apparently just has muscle spasms in his back and shouldn't miss any time

Still backs are tricky and back problems have a way of becoming chronic.Livin the dream

Overall a gritty effort from Garrett.

Playing through back pain is one of the hardest and most painful experiences athletes can do. Thank you Mr. Stutz for stepping up and for showing true toughness. You deserve a good nights rest. Well done. When your not practicing, someone somewhere is and when you meet him...he'll beat you.

I predicted in pre-season posts that Stutz could go for 16 and 8 this year. I was thinking in terms of Valley play - really. I took a bit of abuse for being such a sunshine pumper. Stutz is beating the 8 boards, which is the big surprise. He's not quite at the 16 points in league, but the conference seems to be taking a "don't let Stutz beat you" attitude and stacking defenses to prevent entry passes, clog up the middle, and double Stutz.
That's opening up other players and Stutz is a pretty good passer with pretty good court vision. He tends to find the open player and feed them good, quick passes. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

The UNLV and CSF wins push our RPI up to .6169. Playing SIU at home will eat up about half of tonight's gains, but our SoS will be on steroids for the final 10 games after that (9 MVC + BB).
I did more than my share of whining following the Temple loss. Tonight, however, makes up for that debacle and puts us right back where I'd hoped to be at this point. Sweeping this road trip was a tall order and the team deserves a ton of credit.
