This is telling. The fact that everything is status quo makes me believe that the administration has serious doubts about the allegations or they are developing a Marshall exit strategy.

media is different. In a court of law, a reporters notes are considered a recording.

Respectfully, this is not the issue here.

If Marshall sued ******* et. al. for libel (as someone suggested), the burden would be on Marshall to prove (1) that the information in the article was false and (2) "actual malice" on behalf of *******'s article; that is, publishing something that ******* knew was false or with complete disregard to whether it was true or not. (not to mention other things Marshall would have to prove as well).
