Good deal. I’m glad someone picked him up. He has a really slow release due to taking longer strides, not a great route runner, but tracks the ball decently and sounds like a willing blocker, so we’ll see.

            • He's not making a 53 this year, but if he can show enough to get on a practice squad, he's got a chance. It'll be fun to follow

                • I love Cle. He was an INCREDIBLE college player. He may not have been an NBA player, and that's fine.

But it is slightly disappointing to see his career take the trajectory that it's taken. He was capable of a lot. I hope he does well for himself and his family regardless.

Most of us thought he was capable of a longer NBA career, but he did play for one year in the NBA. I would count several other Shockers as NBAer's, because they had short NBA careers. Ron, Toure, and more were all NBA players.

Should have clarified, not a long-term NBA player.

Getting shot didn’t help. Totally took him off the radar, not to mention created character question marks.

Part of it, but the character question marks were there, even at WSU. NBA teams want to know what their investment is and is not, and they will find out.

                            • Part of the character issues he had in the NBA was his immaturity while becoming wealthy over night. Lots of young guys don’t handle new found wealth and fame very well. He was Really not alone in that.

The other problem was that his newfound wealth occurred in his home city, thus putting him around his old crew. If he would have been probably anywhere else, maybe it would have turned out different.
