Just perused through the Nevada board. They are even surprised by Katz's comments. They expected a South Dakota State or something like that. They didn't think the matchup made sense and couldn't see why they were in for a Murray State matchup over a team like WSU.

Geez, Katz. When even Nevada fans are calling you crazy for the matchup, you know how far off the rocker you are with this one. Just really pathetic.


I still can't believe he dubbed St. Mary's, Creighton, Murray State, and ....... NEVADA as the 4 best teams in the field. Period. That is a direct slap in the face. I hope Marshall gets a hold of this and makes the players memorize Katz's paragraph of garbage.

I don't think anybody is getting too cocky. I think many are just perplexed by the Nevada pick. That doesn't even make any sense. If anybody else was in a similar position as us, I could see it. But Nevada was so far in left field, you can't help but wonder wtf he was thinking.

Murry State is the obvious match up for the Shockers but with some of ESPN guys not agreeing, maybe we won't get them. I recently said I'd be OK with either Murry State or Iona. With Iona's recent loss, I'm going to switch my 2nd choice to ORU. They are on par with Iona, it's a much shorter trip, and a chance for Shocker fans to go the game.

Other than that great job on all the information, this has been a fairly entertaining read, and I agree with all of you, at this point Nevada in no way deserves to be considered one of the top 4, and it's a smack in the face to your team, school and fans. Good luck in the BB game, whichever one you guys get, were hoping for a good team as well, but our rpi is hurting us despite being 15-3.
