Either Katz just listed the wrong team or he is ignoring Nevada's RPI (74) and looking at their 14-3 record. Still, the Wolfpack have no top-50 wins and only one top-100 win.

The games (on Feb. 17, 18 or 19) that make the most sense are Saint Mary’s at Creighton and Nevada at Murray State. Forget about distance between these schools. These are the four best teams and the most likely of the participating teams to earn bids, regardless of whether they win a conference tournament.

Katz mentions again how St. Mary's, Nevada and LBSU are the best road teams for Bracketbuster in today's column on St. Mary's.

I can't understand the agenda. ESPN must need a west coast time to fill the late night slot, but that can't be true because both Creighton and Murray are CST.

Bizarre. In past seasons they've done a good job of not overtly screwing over the top 4-6 teams, so I'm willing to give ESPN the benefit of the doubt until Monday morning. But this Katz/Lunardi putsch against the Shocks is mystifying and they can both roast in hell if their hopes come to fruition.
