Wichita State freshman guard Noah Fernandes (foot) is not warming up with the Shockers and looks like he'll miss his second straight game tonight at Memphis. The good news is that Fernandes is not in a walking boot.

My young bride of 59 years and 6 months just baked me 6 bowls of Custard (with nutmeg) but has limited me to only two bowls per day because it is horrible for the cholesterol.

The reason I mention this is that we've never lost a game (4 times) when she has made me custard.

But, what the hell, we all have to make some sacrifices,.and she will most likely be asleep before the game has ended here on the East coast.

And she will not be mad at all if we win.
