They finished the year 19-12 with 89 NET. 1-9 Q1/Q2 record and a first round loss to Wyoming in the MWC tourney
They are losing 4 of their top 6 players to graduation .. so lots of minutes available.
More power to him. Neveda is where players go to die. Play lots of minutes, flame out and ride off into the susnet

Losing UCONN and having only one team in the too-early top 25 (Houston) next season, are we certain the MWC and AAC are not on equal footing? It's not like the AAC has set the world on fire in men's college basketball since we've been a member. This is a lateral move to reunite with a coach that he obviously is fond of.

So, if Nevada is NET 48 next year, and we are NET 89, is it a big step down?
MWC had 4 in the top 100 NET: (#4, 40, 89, 90)
AAC had 7 in the top 100 NET: (#20, 41, 51, 59, 60, 78, 88). So go ahead and take out UGONE at 60.
MWC had 4 101-199 in NET: (#106, 128, 143, 161)
AAC had 4 101-199 in NET: (#116, 124, 125, 168)
MWC had 3 200+ in NET: (#220, 271, 287)
AAC had 1 200+ in NET: (#208)
In the old RPI system, the AAC was #7 at .544. #6 was ACC at .558, or .014 higher.
In the old RPI system, the MWC was #10 at .520. That's .024 behind the AAC with WCC .534 and Atlantic 10 .539 ahead of them and the MVC just behind them at .518
