IMO there are three quality coaches (already identified) who would jump at the chance to coach the Shockers, so IMO no big deal if Marshall were to leave in a pout.

We’ve lost to Houston x2, Cincinnati, Tulsa, Temple, and West Virginia this year. And people are seriously considering Marshall being asked to leave?? I’m not going to go back to verify, but 4 of the 6 losses are to teams who have been ranked this year, and maybe 5 of 6. This talk is absolutely crazy - and I’m no huge fan of Marshall (on the non-coaching side of things). Let’s get real.

We were exposed by Temple. They showed how our guards are weak and slow and get rattled with heavy pressure and double teams. They were the first team this year to really attack our guards like that. Ever since then it’s been a struggle. It all starts with not having a real PG. Sorry, but we gotta admit to some recruiting mistakes and cut some guys loose. If you aren’t an effective PG and you can’t shoot or drive as a wing, why are they on the team? There’s about 3-4 guys that I would say are on thin ice, but I doubt 3G would do something that drastic. Hard to justify cutting incoming seniors as well.
