Is it possible { know this will bring rain) that we can't recruit good enough big athletes to compete against the east coast teams , Dexter Dennis is a great defender, Cumberland was just to big and strong for him to handle and seemed to get his shot just about when he wanted too..

Haven't you noticed that every team has struggled to contain Cumberland? From last year to now.

Dexter is a sophomore. Cumberland is a senior. He's a full grown man. Also you have to let him get his shot because they call all the touch fouls that get overlooked when every other player drives

I was surprised that we came back. This team is scrappy....you can say that much for them.

This team is still a year ahead of schedule. It was always about next season and beyond.

Having said that, losing in this fashion and watching (at times) frustrating basketball still sucks.

Yup. Cincy will likely take a huge hit next year. I wasn't really impressed by anyone but Cumberland tonight

Coaches look good when they have a player who can create and draw fouls.

Get fouls called. Echinique created plenty and drew plenty. Only got to shoot 2. But you don't expect to get those calls on the road...

All the more reason that he should have been doubled team and we should have forced somebody else to make a shot. Anyibody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but Cumberland. Sigh. I am done. Time to forget it.

-Our defensive gameplan was not good.Too much to go into about that
-Eight free throws on our home court against that bunch? Uh, ok
-Our lack of size at the 4 is magnified when we try to guard teams that bullrush the basket
-Some good offensive performances and clutch plays by Fr and Soph so that was refreshing
-Teams that keep selling their souls and getting grad transfers and immediately eligible transfers and winning games is a paradigm shift I don’t care for.

How do we not let someone else beat us???? Triple team, give up a layup to tie if necessary but not him???

Cumberland is a guy that is playing his way up NBA draftboards and Dennis is a guy who was not sure he wanted to play basketball 2 weeks ago. The officiating was not a deciding factor!

That was all caused by the gameplan and it never should’ve been allowed to happen. But you are correct
