Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

And from 1500 miles away, I felt the energy of the crowd explode when he did that as it lifted my tired old a$$ off of the couch that had the dogs scurrying for cover!

While Eric has really fine body control, there is no way he could have twisted his body more to "barely top it so a teammate could have snagged it" as you suggest.
Maybe you were just being sarcastic (not sure), but you are correct that he isn't really a shot blocker.

Remember that block from behind that was in the intro video for several years? Ron chasing some would-be dunker down, swatting the ball so hard that it probably lost some air, and then Ron crashed into the stanchion, and laid there for a couple of seconds?

Bill Russell certainly had it down but he didn't have to jump to get his blocks.
