At the end of the day, Erik (and his dad) can only blame themselves for how everything is turning out. They made the terrible decision to come to Wichita State and they made the decision to transfer to a better program where Erik’s game could flourish. You can blame coaches, systems, whatever you want, but YOU chose to be a part of those places.

4.0 REB
5.3 AST (this would seem to indicate some unselfish play)
1.7 STL
The only sub-par stat I see are TOs with 2.6.
We have no guard shooting anywhere near those percentages, and he takes a takes a lot of shots. He only has one game where he's taken fewer than 10 shots.
I know this may not be a popular take, but on a team with Tyson's leadership, he might have been a better PG option than Gilbert.

Something must have made Sherfield want to leave. With Burton gone, PT would not have been an issue. Must have been something else. Stevenson gone. Still must have been something else. Once he saw who all was in the portal, he could easily have stayed at WSU if PT or other players were the issue. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
