Now this is where I don't think you can make legitimate comparisons of an individual's game to another's. Since the Prouty has so much weighted value in a team's winning %, that will taint what an individual actually did. To get the best individual efforts, you'd need to remove that portion of the calculation. Otherwise, "A" player's team was undefeated and "B"'s was at .500. B played a better statistical game than A, but under the Prouty, didn't have as high a rating due to his team's winning %.

I checked and 0.564 was right. I did have the wrong opponent though. It should have been UMBC.

Please keep in mind that the "Letter Grade" is a guide that '79 has added. The team's record will greatly affect the Prouty rating, and thus, affect a letter grade applied to it. Note above posts where '79 lists the best individual game ratings since 07-08, then lists the best individual game rating without the Team Winning Rate applied.

Best to use the ratings for individual comparisons by game or for season, not whether a player had an "A" game or "D" game or that they've only been a "C-" player for the season.

For those that want a player letter grade for each game, just remember that, for reference purposes, anything 500 and above is in the "A" range, 400-499 is in the "B" range, 300-399 is in the "C" range, etc. So in this particular game, Ragland and Kyles were in the "A" range and Murry was in the "B" range. Everyone else was in the "C" range except for Cotton, who would have been consider a bust in the "F" range.
