  • They are banking on the fact that people want to own original digital art, Sorta like how you can make a copy of the Mona Lisa but it’s not the real thing. I just don’t get the thought process of caring about owning original digital items. I suppose they can go up in value so it’s a type of potential investment, just not for me.

    • Tyson played really well yesterday.

His NFTs start at $500/each.... Gonna need at least 25 ppg for one of those.

But seriously I kinda, sorta, maybe get it. But I don’t know because I can’t fathom spending money on such a thing.

Because it's in the shape of Saint Peter, is already sun-dried and can be used as a door stopper, has that sweet Texas smell, and is packed with vitamins for any camping emergency.

Don’t forget, it “one of a kind” and “hand crafted”

              • Here's the Rising Star NFT web site - https://www.risingstarsnft.com/ - looks kind of like a work in progress and honestly the whole thing reminds me of a class project. It's interesting to read the "Roadmap" (scroll about 2/3 down the home page). I hope he ran it through WSU so everything is ok as far as NCAA guidelines because some of it sounds almost like the same thing a booster or sports agent giving an athlete cash would expect in return.

                • I really hope this guy transfers. He seems like a great guy, but I think the team would be much improved without his presence. This should be Council and Porter‘s team next year. Bring in a sharp shooting three-point specialist from the portal.

                  • Funny, I was about to post this was his best game of the season (certainly in awhile).

He did not have a terrible game today, I’m just sick of the boneheaded plays and the hero ball shooting.

I don't remember any boneheaded or hero ball plays this game. He's actually been playing much more within the offense the last few weeks

I also think that Tyson has really played well the last few weeks. Dare we credit the coach for reigning him in?

                          • If he could play like he did today (great defense, great effort, fewer forced shots), he’d get more open looks.

I liked when they had RCIV bringing the ball up when CP wasn’t. Let TE work off the ball better.

                            • I know I am so tired of his bone head plays. He really needs to spend this summer studying the game.. I heard Fred Vanvleet say in one of his many interviews that he really spends a lot of time studying the game. We have several players on ths team with below average basketball IQ.

TE is no Fred Vanvleet. He may shoot better than Fred did in college but Fred was better at leading, finishing at the rim, not turning it over, and winning. I really like TE. I think he has a lot of potential. I just feel he has been mislead. (RAT POSION) Go shocks.

I definitely noticed quite a few times where he tried to do too much. Still much improved from prior games, I'll give you that.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.
