I love the gray uniforms. But as has been mentioned before, whether I (or anyone else here) like it or not really doesn't matter.

I'm not in total agreement here. It may not matter what the fans think, but I think the folks who pay the bills are at the very least entitled to express their opinions about the uniforms. How much influence a person's opinion has no doubt bears a direct relationship to how big a check you write. So in my case, I guess your right -- what I think really doesn't matter too much.

If Charles Koch says I hate the grays and love the blacks my guess is the blacks will be back.

I honestly think the grays would be viewed better by a number of people if they didn't come at the expense of the blacks. Black is Wichita State. And it bothers most of us that it's not even an option this season.

I've been agreeing so much with your posts lately, but once again I agree completely with this.

That's a really good point. I do think that the dislike of the Grays stems a lot with certain people because they replaced the blacks. I think if we had black, yellow, and gray away jerseys that if we wore the Grays almost 100% of the time, people wouldn't complain as much because we have the opportunity to play in black.

Personally, I much prefer black, but I'm not on the sidelines or floor, and I'm not going to stop rooting because WSU wears gray. (Now, pink with lace as suggested by Kung Wu's closeted twin Mr. New Castrati, might be a different matter, but I don't see that on the horizon.)

Meanwhile, kai, I'll bet that if Marshall really wanted black to be available for a special occasion this year, it would somehow appear.

How did you like the pink shoes Mr. Echinique of Creighton was sporting? I will say he was able to back up the right to wear those with the physical game he played and I wasn't going to go up to him and tease him about them.

I think that is really the point. Replacing the black with the gray. I don't mind the gray at all as a home uni. Had they replaced the white with the gray as a home uni I don't think there would be near the discussion about it.

I'm still a little surprised an opposing home coach hasn't complained about the lack of contrast vs a home team's home whites but the season isn't over yet. I could see that happening if for no other reason than to try and get under the Shocks' skin.
