ESPN GameDay did a segment on all the new college football uniforms and I would love to see us in some high fashion threads.
How about some pinstripes in honor of HCGM?"Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

Since many of the experts in the Mags are picking Creighton to win the Valley, I predict they Won't, but will be in the hunt. As I think back to the last Su-weet 16 Shocker team, I like the quality depth we have at the 1,2, and 3 spots of this seasons team. LIKE WOW!!!!! While that previous team was very solid inside, they did not have the overall depth of this team. However, our 4 and 5 spots are still somewhat of an unproven mystery at the very start. However, as they zoom in on their roles, watch out. Losing JT, Gabe, AE, and Hatch could be a hit because they were all experienced Seniors and finished very strong. Yes the 4 and 5 spots might be a mystery, but let me fall back the words of Sub, the AD of SN. 'I'M NOT WORRIED."Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Maybe I'm the eternal optimist on this subject, who just never learns, but I'm expecting good things from Stutz and Orukpe this year. I think Stutz will be first or second team All-Valley. I think Orukpe will be better than a minute-eater - cutting down interior baskets on D and controlling boards. Then not being a huge liability on offense.
Hall is often described as a beast. He's well-muscled and looks like a guy who can bang down low. We seem to expect White to be more of a finesse and perimeter player, but check the roster:
Hall - 6'8" - 228
White - 6'8" - 227
I think White is going to be more like Kyle Wilson than like the Koch brothers - able to score from the perimeter and able to bang down low. Signing a highly-rated JuCo at Whit's position kind of overshadowed signing White. White had jaw-dropping stats in HS. White's HS stats were better than Murry's for points and boards (as I recall).
We've bsically overlooked one of the best recruits Marshall has signed. My thought is that it's going to be Anacreon, not White, who has to fight for minutes.
Stutz gets the bulk of minutes in the post. Hall fills in from time to time, and Orukpe probably gets as many minutes there as Hall. Anacreon and White split the minutes when Hall is resting or playing the post.
So, we've got Stutz, Hall, and Orukpe doing the heavy lifting on the boards. And you know Murry is going to get his share. Smith plays taller than his height on boards so he'll get some too. Then we've got some combination of Rags, DWill, Kyles, Murry, and Smith going down court in transition. That's a complete two-deep rotation of players who are outstanding in transition. Fatigue shouldn't be a factor - for the Shox. You have to go back to Ralph Miller's time here to come up with comparable transition players - and he never had this year's depth. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I shot that video my JR. year at WSU, lol! Nothing compares to a good ole' Creighton A$$ kicking in Koch Arena. Won't ever forget how charged the atmosphere was for that game. What was the name of the Creighton player who got his dunk blocked by J.T.?? I still remember my friend saying "Whoa!! That guy from Creighton is still laying on the floor, that was intense!"
