Probably only the rules apply only when he is a NCAA coach. Anything before that is "free". Lomax is probably slightly different because he already had a relationship established outside of basketball. -

Yup. Rumor has it he demanded a staff/program investments. ECU has never invested in its basketball program and Dooley still managed an above .500 record in his first stint. He'll likely be better with ECU supporting him.

Jim Harrick expected to join Mark Gottfried’s staff at Cal State Northridge, source told ESPN. Turns 80 in July. Jeff Dunlap also on staff and Mo Williams could be in play. Gottfried and Harrick. Gotta wonder how long it’ll take NCAA enforcement to make a visit to Northridge.
