Its not really Marshall's fault the roster is unbalanced right now. Like Wufan said, if Mannigault and Hamilton didn't leave the program, and panned out like we thought they would, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. We'd be talking about how awesome a line up we'd have in 12-13 and 13-14. I think coach has done a good job filling the gaps that were left open by the transfers. The only transfer that really helped us in the scholarship department was Tyler leaving. I still with Hamilton would have worked out, I think he could be a game changer come his Jr. and Sr. season.

we took some risks with recruiting ealry on. Hopefully we're beyond the point of having to take risks and we can get back to a "normal" class progression. I'd like to see no more than 1 juco or transfer per year and more freshmen developing through the system. In the long run, it's the best way to build a great program.

This year's NCAA champion is UConn. I remember since we played them. Only other year's winner I can remember is UCLA in 1965 since we were in the final four. Well, perhaps Duke won two years ago?

Marty was one of two that commented on the Oregon/Armstead error. To Novak's credit, he's changed out Armstead for Singler, owned up to his error, and left Marty's and the other poster's comment on the page.

That's gotta suck for Oregon readers who saw the article with Armstead as their top player.
