We all know that Turgeon's target job is KU. aTm is not going to get him there. I think it would be difficult if not impossible to change jobs within the conference. So he is putting himself in the best possible position. Now all he has to do is win and hope that Self falters before he does. Given that there isn't that much difference in age, I hope Turgeon will be very happy at Maryland.

The odds of Turgeon ever coaching at Kansas is slim to none.

It might take a while, but who would be next in line before Turgeon?

Didn't realize Hill was from DC -- now this makes huge sense.

If KSU loses Hill, Martin better hope he has one of those sweetheart deals the KSU athletic department gives to coaches about to be fired.

KSU's sinking into obscurity will make the Titantic appear seaworthy by comparison. The only question remaining will be whether Snyder as the FB coach can raise enough money for the athletic department to fire Martin.

Martin has done a good job at K-State though. I've been waiting for him to falter from the start, and the next thing you know, the Wildcats are running KU out of the gym. Lord knows, Turgeon/A&M had major problems with Martin/K-State.

But with his connections he'd be A LOT more effective at Maryland.
