Whining about NIT ticket prices is unbelievable. Big East tournament ticket prices for a single session in the nose bleed section single session $100. All session tickets approaching $500. great seats $2,500.

So the NIT sets the prices, but WSU is charging out the a$$ to make their bid. Not sure I follow how it can be both ways.

The tickets I purchased were at the same price as the per game cost of the season ticket package (not counting the SASO contribution). Where do you see the price gouging?

Here is the NIT ticket policy from the NIT Team Manual. Note paragraph 2:

Yes, I heard a voice out in the cornfield today -- "Ease his pain"

Hopefully, the Shocks get that message and take to heart.

We lose by 8, but at least we won 20+ games again. That's all that REALLY matters right?

Seriously though, I'll be there hoping for the best.

This NIT cast is a tough one. It would be a thrill for our Shocks to make it to the Garden.

I am not complaining about the prices. Merely responding to the complaining.

Let's say WSU bid $200,000. Once the NIT gets their guarantee of 200K, the rest goes to WSU. But, WSU has their own expenses to cover. Let's say it's a sell out, and the average ticket price is $23.50. That translates to $246,891. WSU walks away with $46,891. Plus concessions, corporate sponsorhips, video board, halftime glad handing, etc etc. WSU's net isn't as large as some might think.

Baseball Regional bids were the same way. To play the game, you gotta pay.

Do teams still have to bid for home games seeing how they just give it to the higher seeded teams anyway? Just curious, I have no idea on this stuff anymore.

I was looking for a Nebraska message board to see what their fans are saying. Not surprisingly, there is FAR more talk of spring football fashion than this Wednesday's game.

I don't think I saw one post, not ONE that actually discussed the game.

Good thing Scoop isn't covering this game. If Gregg said something like this, heads would probably explode.

From the article:"Looks like that league's much better than the league we're leaving, so that's encouraging."

Ok, let's say you're right Coach Sadler....this is a good thing? You can't compete in the Big12......

                      Then there's this one:

What would Sadler tell CU coach Tad Boyle?

"I'd say that you're leaving the Big 12 a year too late."

Yikes. No animosity there. Maybe it was all those beatings at the wings of the BJays.

Nebraska is far from chopped liver. It seems they did defeat Texas and Texas A&M this Season. Yikes!!!

What you are as a person is far more important that what you are as a basketball player.
