It's time to make some predictions:
If WSU shoot more than 20 3-pointers: Lose 54 - 60
If WSU shoot less than 15 3-pointers: Win 62 - 56
What happens in between? A toss up
Hope they learn from past performances. 8)
I still say its about the quality of 3s you take, not the quantity. But I know I am in the minority.
Every opportunity has been blown this season...God bless those willing to shell out another $25 you are more faithful than me...cutting my losses on the season thus will be watching on the deuce.

Obviously, there are many shades and degrees of fandom. Everyone will have a somewhat different viewpoint, desire and ability to support the athletic progam at WSU.
There are basically two ways a fan base can impact an athletic program: 1) with financial support (or lack thereof) and 2) with moral support. Guess which one is the more important in this day and age of college athletics.
Yep, we expect our players and coaches to step up all the time and if they don't all heck breaks loose. I look at this as one of those times for the fans to step up (if they are able to).

Unfortunatey with this group high quantity = Low quality.

Remember your games against Bradley, UNI, Creighton, Missouri State, Evansville, Indiana State, Illinois State, Drake and Southern Illinois where Bradley, UNI, Creighton, Missouri State, Evansville, Indiana State, Illinois State, Drake and Southern Illinois used the entire shot clock every possession? That's what Nebraska does. It ain't pretty and it ain't fun to watch.
Good luck.

They're all not pretty and not fun to watch in this god forsaken grind the living hell out the game until there's nothing but dust left league.
You know Doc contrary to popular opinion, there is a way to speed up a team that wants to play slow.
Mike Andereson is doing it at Missouri and Nolan Richardson and John Thompson did it with a 1-2-2 zone press back in the day.
The only reason a team plays slow is because they let it happen.

It surely seems to me that the local Wichita (Kansas) fans have supported the hell out of this team. I'm sure there are also a lot of out-of-town fans who do likewise by whatever means they can.
Perhaps this time the team should rise up to the ocassion and provide the fans with a meaningful win.
Things often work a lot better when they work in unison and are not one-sided.

No doubt. If the team and coaches conitnue to underperform a portion (perhaps a significant portion) of the fan base will give up. I'm not at that point yet and I am able to attend the game so I will. As a fan I have no control over what Shocker team shows up Wednesday. I probably have my breaking point also, but things would have to get really bad for me to throw the towel in and give up. So for now I will do what I can do as a fan.
I realize this season seems like a real downer and did not meet expectations but compare it to the last 25 years of the program and it doesn't feel quite so bad.
I cannot find my Florida State NIT ticket. Maybe I torched it.
I am pretty sure the NIT sets the prices for NIT games. Also, WSU turned in a bid to host this game. My best guess is that bid was $150,000-$200,000. To make that bid, they charge out the a$$.
I guarantee you Mo. State's bid was much lower and they also are not on ESPN2.
