I would love to be there, I attended UNL for a year before transferring to WSU.
But I am NOT going to miss a baseball game against Arizona.
I do have priorities.
Besides I like baseball better than basketball.
Having said that, if they move the baseball game so that I could go to both games I would.

Nebraska's Ben Walker played at Hutch High and HCC, so there may be a larger-than-usual contingent from Reno Co. coming to the game, probably wearing red.
Agreed.
Every time he has an opportunity to score with the current and possible future fan base, he sinks deeper in the mud.
Maybe a letter to the editor that read like this might have an impact...
Hey Tool,
Your team, who was picked to win the league and finished 2nd, lost 4 at home and laid an egg in STL ends up in the NIT.
So what do you do? Charge $25.00 for tickets to a Tournament game where the eventual winner gets to claim they are #69?
Nice. 8)
What did your hero Jim Schaus do for the NIT games hosted during his tenure?
Does anyone have any idea what it costs when WSU hosts a game at Koch Arena? Are you suggesting it might be worth losing money?

I caught something at the MSU board (which hopefully won't require a doctor's visit), that the NIT requires ticket prices to be the same as the regular season, as long as it meets or exceeds the NIT minimums.
So I guess I retract my earlier criticism of the athletic department's decision to not reduct the ticket prices.

We'd better sell a lot of tickets to WSU fans, or Nebraska fans will make this feel like a home game for themselves.
There are a lot of NU fans living in and around Wichita, and you can bet there will be a sea of red in line for tickets when available.

I could be mistaken, but I am expecting a BIG crowd.

It's time to make some predictions:
If WSU shoot more than 20 3-pointers: Lose 54 - 60
If WSU shoot less than 15 3-pointers: Win 62 - 56
What happens in between? A toss up
Hope they learn from past performances. 8)Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive. (Mt 21:22)

Good luck.
Fixed. They're all not pretty and not fun to watch in this god forsaken grind the living hell out the game until there's nothing but dust left league.
