Will he be here this fall?Foster Vielock is a 6'3 200lbs RHP. He is a 2010 Graduate of Olathe North HS and is still open to college scholarship opportunities.
looks like he tops out at 86, but big frame. maybe he can gain a few more mph.

I was very bullish on the team this year with all of the experience returning...unforutunately I was wrong. Call me crazy but I am bullish again for next years team. The reason?...we will be able to hit and hit for power! We have speed and the defense will be much improved! We will be a well rounded team and we will have more experience for some of our key players. We will miss Coop but the rotation will be very solid and our pen will be much improved with expereinced players and less injuries.
C - OB upgrade defensively, hopefully break out year for his bat
1B - Coy Breakout year for MR. Coy and his last as a Shocker
2b - Davidson - great defensively hopefully he is a good situational hitter and we can use his speed
3b - Harbutz - one year under his belt and he should be improved
SS - Grimes great defensively and will have a much much better year at the plate. Knows how to get on base.
LF- Schebler is supposed to be a fixture at this positon and be a stud of a hitter. I see him in the five hole.
CF - Hall great defense and excellent speed. hopefully he can have a better year at the plate
RF - By committee until someone gets hot and takes the position for themselves
DH - Springer has a huge year bats around .380 for his final year.

Just look at your list and comments. There is a whole lot of "hopefully ..." this and that. The Shox are returning a whole team full of role players except for Coy and Springer. People around here thought the last two seasons were an offensive struggle ... 2011 could be worse. The pitching staff had better throw up a whole bunch of goose eggs, because next years team isn't going to score much.
For me to be wrong, Springer and Coy must carry the offense, I think, but there will need to be someone around to bat behind them and keep the opponents' pitchers honest. Micah Green and Hall could be the tablesetters, but Green is a wildcard right now and Hall just hasn't been good enough to bat leadoff so far in his career - you can't steal first base. Harbutz and Grimes have got to figure it out on offense and reduce their errors. Catcher is another REAL concern. O'Brien has a great pedigree. He calls a good game and has good defensive fundamentals, but he has been a hitting liability.
There are a lot of holes to fill and a lot of guys have to improve A LOT for the 2011 team to be competitive.
I hope I'm wrong.

and that is not even discussing the pitching staff which has even more questions surrounding it.Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!
