I suspect he was in Gene dog house or he wasn't showing anything in intersquad. He wasn't hurt from what I could tell.

Isn't Coop a draft eligible soph? He will not be back in a Shocker uniform next year. But I believe Kelly will stay. Having him, Lowell and say Flynn in the weekend rotation is great.

The rest of the team looks to be marginally better at best unless we have some guys seriously step up and amaze us how summer and fall ball transformed their game.

I like what we have coming back on the offensive side. I think Grimes will be much better next year, Coy and Springer should be middle of the lineup guys, who can both hit double digits in HR's. I really like Goro. I think Chris O will hit and love him behind the plate. The OF will need to produce and is where we need some people to step up, I liked what I saw out of Green in the fall and hope he can step in and be a player and Bayliff should be better and has some upside and from all accounts this JC kid coming in sounds like he could be a pleasant surprise ala Springer this year. Will be real interesting on Monday to see where Cooper and TK go in the draft. I have heard Coop wants to be a lawyer so hopefully he wants to stay in school, but money and the MLB can always change somebodies plans.
