Morris for K-State is a stud and I don't know if I would want to see him plus they played well in the Big 12 tourney, 2-1, with their only loss to UT 2-4.

OU on the other hand didn't play well, 1-2, and Sunny Galloway is a choke artist. You can ask anyone around here. Look at their latest example in the Big 12 tourney. Although we don't always fair well against them.

All in all, I think a 3 seed in the OU regional would be a good fit.

If you count true road games, we've only played 13. If you count the two neutral games in there, it would be 15.

So I'm guessing that it's us Doc?

By the way.. we've only won 4 true road games this year..

I expect us to be a 3 seed wherever we go, as this team has shown flashes of being a solid baseball team. And I do think given the right matchups, we could win a game or 2 in regionals
You are smoking serious crack. The Shox don't deserve higher than a four. We went 5-18 against the top 100 RPI and were only two games above .500 in D1 wins. The committee will not count the non-D1 wins.

          Did someone say "CRACK"?

Looks like OU, UT or TCU. Or else we are traveling quite a ways.

In terms of a combination of traveling and what I think our chances are, I like..

                Norman

                Austin
                Louisville

I hope it's Norman then. I feel badly for K-State though. I mean how often will lightning stike twice in the same location. I think it would have been fun if K-State hosted and the Shox played in the Little Apple.

Their rpi just wasn't good enough for them to be a #1 seed. If they had actually finished secord (or first) in the Big 12 regular season, the committee would have overlooked their rpi and given them a #1 seed, but a fourth place finish with a 20 something rpi isn't going to cut it.

And there is no way a team with no ncaa experience and a small stadium would host as a #2 seed.

Arkansas might have had a shot to host as a #2 seed but not Kstate. As it turned out, neither one did. :wsu_posters:

The smart money is on us being sent to Norman as the 4 seed.

Personally, I love this possibility. Aside from KSU getting to host and the Shocks travelling to Manhattan, this is the best option for our fans to tag along en masse. With the kitties out of the hosting picture, this becomes by far our closest venue.

Nothing would be sweeter than for Kelley to shut down the Sooners and let that arrogant SOB Golloway explain why OU is so superior to WSU as to drop them from the schedule in future seasons. RPI my butt, go get 'em Shocks!!!

'Fever, you got it right....WSU with 13 true road games is the fewest in Division 1 baseball this year.

Yes we are only 4-9 this year in true road games, but in all fairness we had 6 conference road games cancelled due to weather. And all six of them would have had a high probablity for a win (2 games at Bradley, 1 game at UNI and 3 games at SIU).

                            A 10-9, 9-10 or 8-11 road record would look a lot better.

Also I did notice that Texas A & M with an rpi of 15 has just a 5-11 road record. Virtually the same road record as us except they played 3 more road games. :wsu_posters:
